Comment for the Cure’s blog started with Alison Kent’s blog.  The blog has been up less than a week and has done wonderfully.  Just about to meet the max number of comments that Alison was looking for.

The challenge has been extended and now some other generous authors are involved and actively working towards meeting their max comment goals.

Alessia Brio’s challenge extended.  From Alison Kent’s blog.

“Over 200 comments in under 3 full days? That’s fabulous! I challenge your blog visitors to host similar contests, be they for 1 copy or 10.

For each author-blogger who hosts such a contest, I’ll gladly include one of their recipes in Coming Together: In the Kitchen — which will benefit Action Against Hunger. Release planned for 2008.”

If you haven’t taken a moment to leave a comment on these blogs I would encourage you to.  Coming Together for the Cure is an awesome way to touch someone’s life.  With your comments and shared experiences you can and will be supporting those who have either had breast cancer, will have breast cancer or are dealing with it now.

A little bit can go a long way.  As for my blog and getting involved I will buy a copy of Coming Together for the Cure for every 10 comments made (max 50 comments – that’s 5 books = $35 towards a cause we should all be involved with).  I will give these copies away to those who comment here on my blog.  If you do not wish to be entered to win a copy please let me know.  I will leave this open until October 1, 2007.

I’d like to dedicate this blog to Alessia Brio, Alison Kent for starting the blog torch and to all the women, men and children who have had this sad disease touch their lives.  WHOO HOO SURVIVORS.  You truly are an inspiration for others.
